Call for applications for 2025/26 admission to graduate programs

University of Gondar is pleased to announce this call for 2025/26 academic year in masters (regular and Extension) post graduate diploma in Leadership (Extension) and PhD programs on the link https://portal.uog.edu.et. Applicants are requested to follow the steps for applying to University of Gondar.
1. Open the application portal of the University of Gondar https://portal.uog.edu.et
2. Click on the Program link on the top left side of second bar
3. Find out what programs fits your interest before clicking on the Apply Now button.
4. After identifying the field of study from the programs listed, click on Apply Now button in front of the program.
5. Fill out the application form and uploading your educational document, CBE, other stamped form of sponsorship letter, and others attachments
6. Settle your application fee 200.00 birr for 2nd degree (300.00 birr for 3rd degree) Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, University of Gondar Special Fund account number 1000018782492.
7. Using a Bank transaction reference number (Tr.Ref.) from CBE complete your application processes.
8. Ph.D. applicants need to upload credentials of all the previous trainings (BA/BSc and MA/M.Sc. Degree and student copy). Bank receipt (300.00 Birr), signed and stamped sponsorship letter, three recommendations, support letter, concept note
9. MSc/M.A/MPH/LLM your educational records (Degree and transcript/student copy), Bank receipt (200.00 Birr), signed and stamped sponsorship letter (if you are sponsored by government institutions, publication (optional
10. Applicants (including (foreigners) who presented their degrees from abroad need to attach Equivalence Certificate of their foreign qualification from Education Training Authority (ETA).
11. Dates of entrance examination will be notified on the notice board of the respective departments, http://portal.uog.edu.et
12. After admission confirmation, applicants should order an official transcript to be sent in hard copy to the University of Gondar Registrar, PO Box 196.
